The heat wave continues

While scooping, I am personally experiencing the heat wave first hand every day in the yards. This is just a friendly reminder to make sure to take the proper precautions with your pets. They can become dehydrated rather quickly....

Here are some additional pointers for Hot Weather and your pets.

Spring cleanup has arrived!

FINALLY the snow has melted! Lynne and I (yes, I have been in the yards lending a helping hand as well) are busy cleaning up pet waste. If you have not had a chance to pickup where you dog has left off (all winter), give us a call! We would be happy to take that "load" off your yard. Look for our ad in the JB Dollar Saver.

Remember, on average a dog will poop 21 times a week. If you take the number of weeks you have not cleaned your yard multiplied by 21, that gives you how many piles of dog poop are waiting for you and your family in your yard. A quick example, 6 weeks of not picking up, equals 126 piles of dog poop to be picked up! Pet Butler Dayton is use to the mess and will gladly pickup the dog waste. We offer a variety of service frequencies, from the one time pickup to twice a week. We also offer once a week and every other week service. Rates are as low as $10 per week.

Not to get really gross, but I wanted to show you a before and after shot of what we doo.

Lynne did a wonderful job cleaning up this yard! She can "doo" yours as well.

If you have any questions give us a call at 1-800-Pet-Butler (800-738-2885). We even offer a convenient online signup process.

James

New Pooper Scooper Ordinance - Riverside, OH

Just a quick reminder/update on local pooper scooper ordinances in the Greater Dayton area. According to the Dayton Daily News the City of Riverside is considering a pooper scooper ordinance. Violating the new ordinance could lead up to a $150 fine. Riverside will be joining other cities in the Miami Valley that already have a pooper scooper ordinance. Cities that already have a scoop the poop ordinance are Beavercreek, Englewood, Fairborn, Kettering, Miamisburg and Troy. Huber Heights has an ordinance that a dog owner could see a $500 fine if they are not cleaning up after their dog in a city park.

Happy scooping,

James
